Vegas Family Style

We went on a family trip to Las Vegas in January for Lizzy's Lady Luck Gymnastics Meet.  It was a lot of fun.  Mom and Dad came and we had adjoining time shares and Kim and Ben came too!  We tried something new and drove up late at night which was great because the kids slept most of the way, however when we got to Vegas at 2 a.m. they all woke up and were acting like it was morning time and were wide awake ready to go.  We were there for four nights and had a good time.  We visited the Circus Circus amusement park, went to the m&m store, the kids saw NY NY hotel, and got to go to dinner at Rain Forest Cafe.  We all watched Lizzy do awesome at her meet.  She got great scores and really seemed to enjoy the competition.  We are seeing a new side to Lizzy at competitions now that she is in EXCEL and gets to show off some higher level skills including a fly away and baby giant on bars, a back walk over and gainer dismount on beam, and her own routine on floor to "Singin in the Rain".  We had fun in Vegas with the kiddos, a different kind of Vegas, but still fun.
